The phrase "holistic ministry" isn't new to anyone long associated with Abundant Life. It means addressing the needs of whole people and, when fleshed out, means holding programs five days and four evenings a week (plus many weekends). Almost 140 children and more than 160 volunteers are involved in weekly meetings -- tutoring, mentoring, eating dinners together, learning the Bible, playing basketball, going on field trips, praying, and just hanging out together.
