It’s (almost) the most wonderful time of the year! Hard to believe, right? Well, we believe it: our Christmas Store is just over 5 weeks away, and we are getting E X C I T E D.
Every year, students in our programs get to put their hard work towards buying presents for their families, friends, and themselves at our Christmas Store. It’s a special day full of hot chocolate, bows/ribbon/wrapping paper galore, and of course LOVE. Long-time volunteer and friend of the ministry Jen Slate recently wrote an article for Charlottesville Family about the event. It’s a great capture of that day in particular, and how it is a part of our overarching mission in Prospect.
If you would like to be a part of the day, whether that is through purchasing gifts to stock the store, making snacks, setting up and manning the store, or helping the kiddos shop and wrap gifts, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. We’d love to have you!
If you would like to make a monetary donation, you can find out how to do so here.
